All of these works by Norman Rockwell represent the average America just as he saw it. He really captured the character and pose of his subjects. Notice the detail of the Head and Hands; this is where all of the action and emotion lies. He was an amazing draftsman, a wonderful painter and just as many of his fellow artists before him, he did not tackle his final project until he had an answer. I will follow suite with this philosophy.
